Well yes, but you do have to roll more dice. Admittedly dice pools
aren't about rolling as few dice as you can. Still I do like some
aspects of this idea. It turns the difficulty into a competing dice
pool. The system seems to be that

roll (attribute+skills+bonuses)d6 vs (negative
attributes+difficulty+disadvantages)d6.

While just putting more dice on the table seems a bit kludgy I do like
the simple honesty of the system.
