More than what in comparison? I don't think the system necessarily has
any more dice to roll than, say, the traditional dice pool systems you
favour. They are both done in one roll (of several die).

Doesn't seem kludgy to me. If anything, rolling the two dice pools seems
a lot cleaner and tidier than traditional dice pool systems. It means
you can do away with difficulty altogether: just add die to the failure
pool instead! Players can instantly see whether they succeed or fail.
