I definitely like this one best, too. It is distinctive enough to be a
logo, and simple enough to lend itself to variation for different purposes
in the game.

I'm generally a fan of words over acronyms. Besides, wouldn't it really be
FrInGE? Fringe is a solid word for a game on its own.
