Feel free. The site has recently had a style update as well (so hopefully
it looks a bit prettier - though Konqueror/Safari are about the only
browsers which support all the changes).

It's the Samurai code of honour. It's the best term I could come up
with to sum up the genre.

The mechanic will work the same - all traits range from 0 to 5, and
will often have a negative version (e.g., Bravery and Cowardice), so
that '0' is always the norm. They add/subtract to Will for purposes of
Will checks, though some may have special uses in some settings.
A high 'Honour' might give a Samurai bonuses in a setting where
Bushido is important for example. In other settings, 'Honour' may have
no special meaning so there's no point keeping track of it with
mechanics (though that doesn't prevent players roleplaying honour
of course).

Habisfern uses 'Luck' to allow re-rolls and avoidance of death. A less
heroic setting might not want to allow that safety net.

Once the Core bits of code have settled down, and I've got logins
working and security tied down, I'll open it up. The code will of
course be GPL'd.
