It looks great! I haven't even spun the story in the web yet and I'm
already noticing momentum around this.

The Elgg format allows users to upload files and pics, create
presentations and make them private among a community if wanted. I
tested and tried tons of social networks and this thing's out of the
box features were staggering. The only thing it is really missing is
a functioning search engine (apart from tags), but I'm working on a
solution for that.

I'm also in the process of installing a chatroom that should allow
live roleplay as well. I've tampered with RPG-oriented ones but the
code is generally shoddy or if it is in PHP the flash rate is really
annoying. The one I'm working with is pretty slick but we'll still
have to roll dice the old fashioned way.

The best way to help out in Basilicus is to do one of the following:
1. Find "needed" links and write new articles (http://
basilicus.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Wantedpages)
2. Go to existing articles and edit or add to them
3. Add RPG rules to articles

Although the organization isn't entirely intuitive, we are working at
making it better. The best thing to do is start poking around at the
articles to get a feel for how it is done and then add your own star
system, species, organization or civilization.

I generally read all of the recent changes daily: http://
basilicus.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Recentchanges

It'll be going through a few format changes this week so don't be
alarmed.

Thanks again for the news on freeroleplay.
